Magellan gave this relic to Rajah Humabon and his wife when he first landed to Cebu. Another example of historical place is the Fort San Pedro it is located in the area called Plaza Independencia. Fort San Pedro serves as a military defense structure in Cebu. It was built by the spanish under the command of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi. It is the oldest triangular bastion fort in the country. It served as the nucleus of the first Spanish settlement in the Philippines.
