Confirming the news, Robert, who has earlier helmed Kalam, says, "The film is a suspense thriller, and Aari plays an NRI who returns to the country. How he falls in love with the heroine — played by Smruthi — and subsequently has to unravel a web of mystery, forms the crux of the story." Mouna Valai also stars Harish Peradi, Madhusudhan and Aroul D Shankar in pivotal roles. While Javed Riaz (of Maanagaram fame) will be composing music, Farook J Basha will be cranking the camera.
