Opening and First Session of the 2nd Youth Conference of the Valdai Club’s New Generation Project
On April 23, the Valdai Discussion Club opened the 2nd Youth Conference for participants of its Valdai – New Generation project at its Moscow headquarters. The two-day conference featured an opening session, five thematic discussions, a summary debate, and the report presentation. The participants of the first session discussed the strategies and tools that BRICS can employ to build a more equitable global governance. The BRICS grouping is transforming the structure of global governance. This high-profile, open, inclusive body, committed to a multilateral approach to solving global challenges, has become a platform for rallying the countries of the Global South and the global majority dissatisfied with the Western-centric architecture of the world.
