X-Plane 11.55 PMDG DC-6A Everts Air Cargo takeoff from Bella Coola CYBD
Guys ask if she work in 11.55 with Vulkan, the answer is YES she works. You need to use Plugin Admin plugin from older X-Plane to be able to turn on DC-6 plugin manually, then you have to change parking stand via menu to enable sounds. That's all. The link for the old Admin is here in description. Also be sure to uncheck "use experimental flight model" box since with experimental model she feels a bit unrealistic on takeoffs and landings. Old version of PluginAdmin to be able to turn the model on: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ifH-iq6uMXaeGjtRhaL7eNFR_eIRGa6o/view?usp=sharing 1) rename existing Plugin Admin folder to smth like "Plugin Admin_" 2) put provided Plugin Admin folder to Plugins folder in order to have both folders there simultaneously, don't rename provided folder 3) run X-Plane, load DC-6, it will load with crapped 3d cockpit 4) find proper Plugin Admin plugin, it should show you old X-Plane 10 style bright window 5) find DC-6 plugin there, click 'next page' if needed, and turn it on 6) cockpit should load as it should, DC-6 menu pages should load on the left of screen and in the top menu 8) if you need to activate it and activation window doesn't show anything exept dark rectangle: click somewhere near middle of that window until you see flashing cursor, then paste you activation number (or type it), then click a bit lower of this string where button 'Activate' should be, if you hit it right - X-Plane should lag for several seconds and then you will see message like "Activation successfull, pls reload aircraft" 9) repeat steps 3 - 6 10) when you turn DC-6 plugin on, go to flight setup screen, click 'change location', select another parking stand there and click 'start new flight' 11) that's all, DC-6 should work now with all sounds and virtual flight engineer You have to manually turn DC-6 plugin on and change parking place every time you run X-Plane to fly a DC-6. As for me this is not too much to be still able to fly this excellent model. Cheers
